There’s something horrifyingly beautiful about Tess’s final moments. In the midst of the most dire chaos, as she waits for her death to come rushing past so she can blow it sky high and give cordyceps a big fuck you one last time, one of the infected stops. It looks at her, really looks. Her own mortality is personified in this infected. It’s death that’s looking at her, and it sees her. She looks her own death in the eye, and the suspense is so high as it approaches. But then, it doesn’t bite her throat out like we all expect it to.

It kisses her. What’s more, it kisses her gently. And I think it was a brilliant choice on the writers part, because it reminded me that the infected aren’t supposed to be evil. Sure, they’re scary as hell, but really, they’re just trying to survive. They’re connected to one another, they can feel each other from miles away. They seek out and want to be close to their own kind, just like the human survivors do. And when they do find each other, they kiss hello.

And after so long apart from a loved one, someone you know and trust with every instinct in your body, wouldn’t you want to kiss them too?

People must be aware that every time a character states something in a show, what will happen is the opposite of that.

Some examples:

Will on S3EP1 when he said "I'm not... gonna fall in love" and we learned that he fell in love with Mike on S4.

El in the letter Mike read in the beginning of S4EP1 "We're gonna have the best spring break ever" and what happened? They had the worst spring break ever for very obvious reasons I don't even have to state. The reasons are endless...

El when she said to Mike on S4EP2 "You'll meet my friends later, but today, I want today to be about me and you" and what happened? Mike actually met "her friends" who are actually her bullies later that day and the day got ruined because of them.

Eddie when he said to Dustin on S4EP8 "Never change Dustin Henderson" and what happened in EP9? Eddie died and I'm 100% sure Dustin will be very different next season because of that.

When Will on S4EP8 said to Mike on the van "She'll need you Mike, and she always will" regarding El and I'm sure she won't, haha. At least not romantically for so many reasons and we'll see that next season.

Things that are stated and said in such a direct way in a show will bring the opposite sooner or later.

It's like Andy Warhol's Soup Cans, except it's Drearburh's Bone Harrow Soup! Made with real Harrow bone!

The bag is cloth with a cloth interior liner, and the color is real in there and not printed on top, so it doesn't peel. Sturdy construction, too! I've been using it for a year and a half and never been concerned about stress on the straps.

It's my favorite bag for grocery shopping. Love buying milk and avacados and knowing that no one knows my bag is about cannibalism.

I feel like due to mom-trauma in a modern au that Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji would be in contact with each other weekly if not daily, no matter what. If it goes longer than a week without hearing from each other they both get a little antsy and Lan Wangji will straight up panic if it goes longer than two weeks and Xichen won’t answer his calls (tragedy of a broken phone and no memorized phone numbers and Wangji’s refusal to get social media)

They’re both appalled to find out that WWX and JC will go months without speaking and then just show up at each other’s house with nothing more than a “you up?” Text. Xichen is less so, because he gets that not everyone is as close as he and Wangji. Wangji however is extra confused because the only other brother relationship he’s seen is Huaisang ans Mingjue and they call each other daily even when they’re both hella busy atleast for a few minutes.

I have more for this au but it’s mostly just a small fun art ideas :D though I still don’t have a fully story with it, just some moments 

so shortly, Amity is a wild animal and don’t understand a word Luz speak, for now, she’ll catch up with time. I like the theory in media that mermaids actually can be really smart and stuff, so she learns

One line in particular that has stuck in my brain aside from the obvious: Prapai’s “please don’t joke with me” after asking Sky what he meant. It’s so desperate but it’s also kinda vulnerable?? Like he wants Sky so bad but there’s something off about this and he needs to pause and the last thing he wants is for this to be some joke. Because that’s mostly what he’s gotten from Sky up until this point: teasing, sarcasm, just a lot of pushback and testing Pai’s dedication to him. He can’t read Sky’s mind and know that he’s falling just as hard, he’s just hoping against hope and just fucking “please don’t let this be another test, please don’t tease me in this way, please don’t push me away if I act on this, please let me love you how you deserve to be loved, how I NEED to love you, please please please”

I was thinking about Hawke earlier right? And how they have the little blood smear on their nose?

So Carver or Bethany dies in the prologue, right? What if as their dying, they reach up towards their older sibling's face, trying to comfort them, and smears some of their blood across the bridge of Hawke's nose.

Hawke leaves Fereldan with their sibling's blood still caked on their face. It's gross, but Maker, they can't bring themselves to wash it off. It hurts far far to much, and the thought of loosing the last tie to their younger sibling rips their heart out.

Years later in Kirkwall, Hawke can often be found buying cans of face paint whenever they get the chance. For the smear of red across their nose (they would use blood, but Leandra had called it unhygienic) Most assume the smear is a way of taunting their enemies. It's fearsome, it's bold, it's the symbol of Hawke.

But to Hawke? It's their way of honoring younger sibling, even in their death.

But here's the thing about casting an actual child, especially one that looks so young, like Walker Scobell does - we are going to see him get attacked by monsters stories higher than him, fight all powerful gods, watch his mom get killed right in front him, lose his friends to an actual war, be betrayed by people he considers very close to him, and so so much more of all the crap Percy goes through, and it's got so much potential to hit hard just how absolutely fucking horrible it is that this is the normal life for demigods. That they are little kids literally carrying the weight of the world. That most of them do not reach adulthood. That they are hunted since they are born. That the gods are constantly sending their children to die and so many times do not even care enough to claim them, help them, or get attached at all.

It is so very easy to look at Percy Jackson & The Olympians and just see the "little kid gets to be a hero" story, but I would really love for them not to shy away from how traumatizing it all is. I want to hear Percy say "Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood" and understand the exhaustion and fear and regret behind it, because while it is an adventure, it's also a death sentence, and I think that's an aspect of the story that has remained so unexplored but that adds so many layers to all of it.
